Jonathan Root (b 1959) is an English portrait photographer. His subjects include: David Hockney, Peter Blake, Allen Jones, Gilbert & George, Philippe Starck, Marc Newson, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Alan Bennett, Mark Rylance, Lord Bath, and Nicholas Haslam.
